Refund & Cancellation Policy
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated August 202601How to cancel
Send your cancellation in writing, by email or in person, to the office that issued the booking, and include the booking reference and passenger names. A cancellation takes effect from the moment we receive that written instruction, not from a phone conversation. Anything already flown or used cannot be cancelled.
02What decides whether a ticket is refundable
Refundability is set by the fare rules of the ticket you bought, not by Atlantic. Flexible fares are usually refundable with a penalty. Promotional and low-season fares are often non-refundable, and in that case only the government taxes and certain airport charges can be returned. We tell you the fare condition before you pay, and it is printed on your confirmation.
03Agency service fee
Our service fee for issuing, reissuing or refunding a booking covers work already done and is not refundable. Where a refund is processed, the fee is deducted from the amount returned to you.
04Processing time
We file a refund with the airline or supplier within 3 working days of your written request. Airlines then process refunds on their own timetable, commonly between 4 and 12 weeks, and some carriers take longer. We follow the file until it is paid and will give you a status update whenever you ask.
05How the money is returned
Refunds are returned by the same method used for payment. Card payments go back to the card used, bank transfers to the originating account, and cash payments by bank transfer to the account of the person who paid. We cannot pay a refund to a third party.
06Partly used tickets
If part of a journey has been flown, the airline values the unused segments under its own rules and the result is often less than a proportional share of the fare. Some partly used tickets have no residual value at all.
07Missed flights and no-shows
A passenger who does not appear for a flight is normally treated as a no-show and most fares lose their value. Tell us as early as possible if you cannot travel: a cancellation made before departure almost always leaves more value in the ticket than a no-show does.
08If the airline cancels or changes the flight
When an airline cancels a flight, changes a schedule significantly, or a route closes, you are entitled to what that airline offers, usually rebooking on the next available service or a refund of the unused portion. In those cases we do not charge our own change or refund fee.
09Hotels, tours, transfers and insurance
Hotel and tour cancellations follow the supplier deadline given to you at booking. Non-refundable rates cannot be recovered. Insurance premiums are generally not refundable once the policy has been issued, and Marhaba and other airport assistance services are not refundable within 24 hours of the service time.
10Visa refusal or delay
If a visa is refused or is not issued in time, cancel the booking with us in writing as soon as you know. The ticket is then refunded to the extent the fare rules allow. Visa service charges and agency fees are not refundable, since the work has already been carried out.
11Groups and instalment bookings
Group bookings and instalment plans carry their own deposit and deadline schedule, which is given to you in writing when the group is confirmed. Deposits are non-refundable after the deadline stated there.
